MPU Trainee Operator

• $45 per hour flat rate

• Permanent Opportunity after 6 months

• 7/7 Roster 12 hour day shifts

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking MPU Trainee Operators with out Client, a Leading manufacturer in Explosives to work at heir Project based in the Gunnedah Basin. The successful candidate will be working on a 7/7 Roster completing 12 hour day shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• MPU Operator delivering explosives directly into the blast hole via a pump or auger on site

Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) are purpose- built vehicles that are used in mining operations to manufacture or blend Class 1 bulk explosives at the location of blasting.

Skills and Experience

• UHL Licence/Security Clearance or willing to obtain

• HR Drivers Licence

• Current Police Clearance

• Driving Record

• Great attitude and reliable

• Prior experience as a trades assistant or labourer would be a bonus

• Ability to pass a Coal Board Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
