What you will be doing
Our client Rio Tinto is currently seeking motivated individuals who are interested in furthering their knowledge and skills in Rail Safeworking and upskilling as Network Protection officers or M5 Safeworkers. This an entry level opportunity for safety focused individuals who are keen to establish a career within the Rail Network Renewals team, full training will be provided. You will be based at 7 Mile Rail Facility in Karratha with a start in January 2022.
You will be called upon to execute Local Protection Authority and Track Protection Authority activities throughout the Rio Tinto Iron Ore network. Undertake task specific safeworking to support the day-to-day track protection requirements for all renewals and maintenance activities.
What you will need
Possess a high regard for the safety of yourself and others
Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
Covid 19 Vaccination
