About the role

WorkPac currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified Open Cut Examiner for an immediate start on an on-going contract for our client's mine located in the Gunnedah Basin.

What you will be doing

• Assist in daily production plans and corresponding job safety analysis or risk assessments

• Adequately escalate any safety related issues as required

• Ensure safety and health documentation at site is kept accurate and current

• Communicate regularly with the Superintendent in regard to safety & production targets

• Have an understanding of Quality, Materials, Stockpile and Environmental Management Plans

• Ability to manage and lead a successful team

WHat you will need

• Open Cut Examiners Qualification

• NSW Order 43 Coal Board Medical

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Current Drivers Licence

• Police Clearance (within last 6 months)

• Experience in working in open cut mining

• Strong communication skills

• Previous experience in managing & leading a team
