About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Open Cut Examiner to join our client located in Wilpinjong mine for an ongoing basis with the possibility of extension. This role will be working a 7:7lifestyle roster either drive in, drive out or fly in, fly out.

Duties and Responsible

• Undertake inspections everyday within the project boundaries and assist in daily production plans and corresponding job safety analysis or risk assessments as part of the cross-sections.

• Understand the requirements and risk controls as outlined in the Project Risk Assessment.

• Regularly audit the mitigation controls to ensure the project is in compliance with the site safety and health management system.

• Ensure safety and health documentation at the project site is kept accurate and current. Communicate regularly with the training and safety coordinators on any improvements required.

Skills and Experience

• VOC's to validate previous operating experience

• NSW Practicing Certificate required

• Proven track record of operating safely

• Strong team player who supports our client's operations

• Australian Driver's Licence

• Right to Work in Australia
