About Our Client

Our client was founded in 1986 and offers integrated activities in marine and offshore, life saving equipment and fire fighting systems servicing. They provide recertification, inspection, service, maintenance and new products for critical safety equipment in a timely manner to a very high standard.

What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for managing the operations of the Karratha business and reporting directly to the COO. You would join the business with 2+ years supervisory experience in the marine, safety or offshore industry. The Operations Manager would be responsible for 3 technicians and an administration officer and would work with large external clients. Standard working hours are 7.00am/7.30am - 4.00pm. Candidates would have the option of housing being provided or a housing allowance of $650.00 per week as well as 50-75% of utility costs and a company car provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Quoting of business activities

• Manage the utilisation of service centre technicians

• Manage the business centre P&L

• Assist in preparation of customer quotes and identifying remedial work

• Responsible for compiling and distributing job packs

• Manage HSE of service centre and projects undertaken

• Develop strategies to increase turnover and profitability

• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings
