Our client is one of the well-known cleaning company that are on a mission to make a sustainable future possible. They are a market leader with delivering integrated total waste management solutions for various clients (naval ships, medical centres, retail stores, residential etc)

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking experienced confined space labourers for on-going work on the naval ships out in Potts Point.

Start Date: Mon, 8thNov 2021

End Date: Mon, 31stJan 2022 (Could be extended to July 2022 depending on performance)

Day shift: 7am to 5pm (Mon to Sat)

Pay rate: $34.30 per hour plus penalties and super

This role would be suitable for people who can work in oval shaped tanks that are approx. 2 ft x 3 ft in size.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducting gas testing

• Cleaning of inside of tanks and other areas on the naval ship

• Completing entry permits

• Working in teams of 3

• All other general labourer duties as per site requirements

• Following our client's direction on site.

• Adhering to all safety protocols and COVID regulations on site.

Skills/Experience:

• Must have proven work experience in confined spaces

• Need to be double vaccinated and be able to provide either a COVID-19 Vaccine Immunisation History Statement/Certificate OR a Medical Exemption Letter

• Confined Space Entry (including Use Breathing Apparatus) Certificate/Ticket

• Defence Common Access Card

• Must be physically fit

• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test

• Own transport and PPE

• Have full Working Rights in Australia (not suitable for Student Visas)
