About Our Client

Our client is a specialist in Thermal Coal production with 17 operational Mines across Queensland and New South Wales. They are one of Australia's leading producers of Coal for various uses. Working at one of their Open Cut Mines within the Southern Bowen Basin, you would be exposed to career progression, great culture, and stability.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be a Skilled Operator with a strong background within the Civil Construction sector. With experience on a range of Mobile plant you will be looking to bring your transferrable skills from Civil to Mining. So, if you have experience operating Grader, Moxy, Excavator and Loader within a Civil environment and looking to step up this will be the role for you.

For the right candidate, this role you will allow you to be upskilled and trained to be operating CAT 793F, 789C, 777 Dump Trucks and/or Komatsu 785-7, CAT 785 Water Trucks. These positions are DIDO only on a 7/7 Roster.

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating civil machinery with RII or VOC Transcript

• Hold or be willing to obtain a Current Standard 11 and Current Coal Board Medical (within last 5 years)

• Current Drivers Licence
