About Our Client

Our client is a specialist predominantly Metallurgical coal and minor export of thermal quality across 2 open cut mines and two underground mines located in the centre of the Bowen Basin. Working at one of their Open Cut Coal Mines within the Central Queensland Bowen Basin, you would be exposed to career progression, great culture, and stability.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be a Skilled Operator with a strong background within the Civil Construction sector. With experience on a range of Excavators you will be looking to bring your transferrable skills from Civil to Mining. So, if you have experience operating Excavator within a Civil environment and looking to step up this will be the role for you.

These positions are rotating day shift and night shift on a 7/7 Roster.

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating civil excavator (over 36 tone) machinery with RII or VOC Transcript

• Hold or be willing to obtain a Current Standard 11 and Current Coal Board Medical (within last 5 years)

• Current Drivers Licence
