Payroll Officer

About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for an on-going role with our Client based in Mackay.

WorkPac have an exciting opportunity for an experience Payroll Officer to assist our clients financial and administrative tasks.

This is an on-going opportunity for the right candidate and our client requires someone that can work full time hours Monday to Friday.

Key Duties and Experience Required:

  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information

  • Resolving payroll discrepancies

  • Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures

  • Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed

  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently

  • Experience in a similar role is essential
