About Our Client

Townsville City Council is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer for a an assignment ending in late November.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be laying and maintaining large diameter pipes, interpreting drawing plans, following directions, welding, drilling, operating plant machinery, liasing with members of the public, and following OH&S procedures on sites around Townsville.

What You Will Need

• Minimum 2 years experience pipelaying

• White Card

• C class licence

• Previous experience welding and drilling

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of W.A.S.A and industry standards

• Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical

• Ability to pass a Police Check

• MR licence (desirable)

• Basic Dogman ticket (desirable)

• Knowledge of Water and Waste internal policies and procedures (desirable)

• Crane chaser licence (desirable)
