About the role

We are seeking Plant Operator to operate earth moving equipment onsite.

Duties and responsibilities

Operating earthmoving equipment (ie. Excavators, Front End Loader, Material Handlers, Bob Cat)

Maintain a professional image and deliver high quality customer service at all times

Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading or compacting of waste or other materials

Excavate, load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations

Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations

General housekeeping duties

Requirements

Excavator Licence

Front End Loader Licence

Material Handler experience (desirable)

COVID vaccinated

Experience in the waste industry (desirable)

Good work ethic

High safety standard
