About the Client

Our client is Australia's leading total waste management, industrial and environmental services company.

For over 50 years our client has delivered sustainable waste management solutions to their customers in the health, local governments, hospitality and retail industries.

About the Role

Due to their rapid growth our Client is looking to recruit an experienced Plant Operator for the following locations:

Sydney Olympic Park and Rockdale.

On site they have a 12 Tonne Excavator and a 9 Tonne Loader which you will be operating to push around general waste.

They also have counterbalance forklifts.

Pay rate is $37-$47 per hour (depending on your experience)

This role would be suited for an experienced and ticketed multi-skilled operator who loves working on a quarry/processing site.

Duties and Responsibilities

Following Client's direction on site

Operating our Client's machine in a safe and efficient manner

Be able to work unsupervised

Follow our clients OH&S and COVID-19 policies on site

Skills and Experience

Previous experience operating in a waste/quarry environment (min. 6 months)

Must provide either a COVID-19 Vaccine Immunisation History Statement/Certificate OR a valid Medical Exemption Letter

Must hold White Card

Must have relevant operator tickets (Loader, Excavator, Moxy or Water Cart) and forklift ticket (bonus)

Must have Full Working Rights in Australia

Be physically fit and able to pass to D&A test

Must be able to provide 2 previous work reference
