Project Cost Controller

About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Cost Controller to provide support within Project Controls. This role is working with our client Rio Tinto on a Monday to Friday roster, located in their Darwin office with a great supportive team for a 6 month engagement with the possibility of extension.
Duties and Responsibilities
Be responsible for raising purchase requisitions in SAP
Regular Service Entry receipting of invoices in SAP
Check and route cost control documents through DocuSign for approval while following the Project?s DFA
Monitor and assist with the conversion of purchase requisitions to Purchase Orders
Preparing CARs, and PCNs for approval
Updating PRISM with SAP cost data, PCNs, CAR and PCN status.
Closing out PRISM and publishing a suite of reports from PRISM at the end of each month.
Collate accruals for the Ranger Closure project each month
Providing other cost control related support to the Project controls team and answer queries from the Ranger Closure Project Team
Participate in monthly package forecast meetings and follow up any actions required
Skills and Experience
Have excellent attention to detail
Exposure and understanding of CARs and PCNs
Previous experience within a cost control environment
Knowledge of SAP, preferably with Group Requisitioner responsibility
