  About the Role:

  WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to join Rio Tintoâs fixed plant projects team based in the Greater Nammuldi region. This role will work a Monday to Friday roster based in Perth with ad-hoc site travel.

These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700-kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilise the Sustaining Capital project framework to assist the various Project Leads through Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, Implementation and Close Out phases of the projects.

• Establish scope of works, liaising closely with site operations and maintenance teams

• Determine optimum design solutions in consultation with the design teams

• Design, review and coordinate technical queries responses

• Review construction methodology and tender documentation

• Report progress to multiple stakeholders

• Manage Quality & Risk

• Provide Safety Leadership & ensuring the highest HSEQ standards are being met at all times

  About You:

• 3-5 years project engineering experience with electrical projects in the mining industry

• Strong experience on fixed plant projects and commissioning

• Shut experience (preferred)

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement

• Current Australian Drivers Licence

• Full Working Rights in Australia
