About the Role:

We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the team at Rio Tinto DSL based in Perth. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Friday roster and be responsible for management and delivery of capital projects and major maintenance works for electrical and control system assets.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Project development including scopes of work, options analysis, design criteria, equipment selection and applications for capital expenditure.

• Financial and cost management develop a project budget, manage and control costs effectively, identify savings.

• Procurement and contractor engagement develop and run project tenders, evaluate contractors and suppliers for equipment and execution works.

• Implementation in collaboration with contractor supervisors, oversee all aspects of the fabrication and installation works including safety, compliance, quality, schedule and cost.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in project development and delivery in mining and/or construction required.

• Engineering degree or certificate in electrical or control systems required.

• Project management qualifications advantageous.

• Rio Tinto project delivery, procurement and systems experience advantageous.
