About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join Rioâs Divisional Capital team within Cape Lambert Port in Iron Ore. FIFO from Perth. 8:6 roster. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead, deliver and support a wide variety of projects.

Duties include:

• Development, coordination and reporting of capital projects including business case, scope schedule and estimate development, management of all engineering and design activities and stakeholder engagement and collaboration to achieve best project outcomes

• Overseeing all aspects of project delivery by managing safety, budget, scope, quality and schedule including contractor performance and contract management

• Providing periodic status reporting for all assigned projects covering scope, schedule, cost & risk

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering

• Experience working in a Project Engineering role

• Mining experience

• Experience managing projects with proven capability of project management, delivery and portfolio management.

• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• WA C Class Drivers Licence
