About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a Project Lead to join the high performing Mining Technology Delivery team within the RTIO Sustaining Capital division. The successful applicant will be the sole point of accountability for the delivery of autonomous mining technology deployments and upgrades across Pilbara sites. Due to expansion within the team, applications from both seasoned and recently qualified personnel are encouraged. This is not a fly in fly out role, however regular travel is required consistent with the phase of project delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Lead the delivery of new autonomous mining technology deployments and upgrade projects across RTIO Pilbara operations
Managing performance, scheduling, logistics and safety of contractors
Managing project scheduling, financial forecasting and purchasing
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of project documentation
Skills and Experience
Formal project management qualifications
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
3 years industry experience: Engineering (control systems, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical or mining) Mining (Operations Readiness or Production Engineering), IT Project Delivery
A can do attitude and proven ability to scope and solve problems
Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management skills
