About The Role

WorkPac are seeking a Project Lead to join the high performing Mining Technology team within the RTIO Sustaining Capital division. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of autonomous mining technology deployments and upgrades across Pilbara sites. This is not a fly in fly out role, however regular travel is required consistent with the phase of project delivery.

This role will see you engage and work collaboratively with others on autonomous mining technology deployments and upgrade projects in addition to managing performance, scheduling, logistics and safety of contractors. You will be someone who can provide onsite supervision of project deliverables when required and offer assistance with the drafting and reviewing of project documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Strong Project Management skills and experience, preferably with exposure to autonomous dozers, drills or trucks.

• Demonstrated self motivation and the ability to work independently

• Minimum 5-10 years mining industry experience.

• Mining Production exposure.

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, electrical, mechanical or technology.

• A strong understanding of the Microsoft suite of programs.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in commissioning or maintenance of mobile equipment.

• Supervised teams within a mining environment.

• Familiarity with project business case development and funding approval processes.

• Familiarity with Frontrunner or Command control systems.

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, electrical, mechanical or technology.

• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

• C Class Drivers licence
