About the Role

WorkPac are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in housing construction/maintenance for a 6 month contract with the opportunity for extension for a housing remediation/demolition project in Jabiru.

  • BIBO to Jabiru on a 5/2 and 5/4 roster

  • 10 to 12 hour days

  • 6 month contract with possible extension to 12 months

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Review current domestic housing and commercial property statues reports commissioned by 3rd parties to a set standard as developed by others and against current shire and NT government housing standards

  • Structural/Electrical and Hydraulic + ecological

  • Recommend best approach of reviewed properties that require remediation

  • Remediate or demolish - cost analysis

  • Remediation scope and pricing

  • Demolition scope and pricing

  • Scheduling of remediation and/or demolition works

  • Arranging and coordinating contractors for remediation and/or demolition works

  • Liaising with shire and government parties as well as tenants and other bodies involved

Skills and Experience:

  • Current experience in building construction/maintenance/demolition roles with similar exposure

  • Familiar with local and Territory building standards/guidelines and requirements

  • Registered Builder would be highly considered

  • Cost and option analysis in building/construction/maintenance

  • Scheduling of housing maintenance programs

  • Coordination and management of contractors

  • Liaising with tenants and government officials
