5:2 Roster - Perth CBD Based Role

About the Position

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Lead to join our client Rio Tinto's Sustaining Capital division on an initial 12 month position based in Perth CBD, with ad-hoc site travel 2-3 times a month. This role will see you leading Electrical Projects through all phases from pre-feasibility through to close out phase whilst leading and resourcing the team.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of Electrical Project Delivery by managing budget, scope and schedule

• Coordination and planning of Electrical Project works

• Ensure risks associated with all aspects of work are understood, documented and communicated effectively

• Working with key business stakeholders to define project objectives, scopes and deliverables

• Contractor performance and compliance to contracts

• Project monthly reporting

• Project HSE culture and compliance

Skills and Experience:

• Current C Class Drivers Licence

• Electrical Engineering background

• Minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated Electrical Project delivery experience

• Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards

• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office and MS Project

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
