About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a Project Manager for our client. This is an exciting, long-term role for an experienced Project Manager. This role involves planning and executing our current long term Road maintenance project according to strict deadlines and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to the plan. The Project Manager will also define the project???s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Directing and managing project development from beginning to end
Defining project scope, goals and deliverables
Tracking project milestones and deliverables
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Coach, mentor, motivating and supervising project team members and contractors, and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Building, developing, and growing any business relationships vital to the success of the project, particularly Client relationship
Liaise with Clients and attend Client meetings continuously building a positive relationship
Skills and Experience:
Qualification in engineering, construction, management or similar
Project management experience
Excellent people management skills
Extensive occupational health and safety knowledge
Knowledge of current quality standards
