Project Supervisor Mechanical
About the Position:?
In partnership with our leading Resource Client, WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor Mechanical for a March start. Current roster is 8/6 for a resident or FIFO from Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
A genuine commitment to safety and proven safety leadership skills in the field is a given
Maintenance execution schedule management (planned to high capacity)
Previous experience leading a high performing team
An understanding the work management process (1SAP)
Previous maintenance experience within a Mining or heavy industry environment, Fixed Plant experience would be beneficial
Planning and scheduling experience is desirable
Continuous improvement and project management experience would be beneficial
Key Requirements:
Have a Trade Qualification or Tertiary qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
Experience in executing Brown Fields projects
Experience in the Iron Ore industry, has worked on Car Dumpers, Stackers, Ship loaders, and Conveyors
Previous experience in leading a multi-disciplined teams in a frontline supervisory capacity
Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions
Current C Class drivers licence
Experience with BHP's Operating System (BOS) system would be advantageous.
Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
Flexible with work rosters
Able to work night shift when required
