About the Position:?

In partnership with our leading Resource Client, WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor Mechanical for a March start. Current roster is 8/6 for a resident or FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

• A genuine commitment to safety and proven safety leadership skills in the field is a given

• Maintenance execution schedule management (planned to high capacity)

• Previous experience leading a high performing team

• An understanding the work management process (1SAP)

• Previous maintenance experience within a Mining or heavy industry environment, Fixed Plant experience would be beneficial

• Planning and scheduling experience is desirable

• Continuous improvement and project management experience would be beneficial

Key Requirements:

• Have a Trade Qualification or Tertiary qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline

• Experience in executing Brown Fields projects

• Experience in the Iron Ore industry, has worked on Car Dumpers, Stackers, Ship loaders, and Conveyors

• Previous experience in leading a multi-disciplined teams in a frontline supervisory capacity

• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions

• Current C Class drivers licence

• Experience with BHP's Operating System (BOS) system would be advantageous.

• Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills

• Flexible with work rosters

• Able to work night shift when required
