About the Role
We are currently seeking a Project Lead/Manager to oversee a Learning Management System Implementation/Transition. The role is expected to be three years in duration.
This role is a great opportunity for an energetic agile project management professional that can lead and deliver projects with a focus of âpeople at the centreâ and is passionate about doing things differently. Reporting to the Manager, Central Services - Capability Development, you will be:
Responsibilities
Leading a project from concept to delivery, developing and managing project scopes, plans, budgets, resources, communication and stakeholder plans, work packages, milestones, and project reporting.
Manage the design of test cases, user acceptance testing criteria, go/no go decision criteria
Manage data extraction, cleansing, migration and archiving
Coordinate, assess and rank documentation of functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements to determine prioritisation and endorsement of MVP
Manage and/or coordinates co-design phase activities including documenting requirements, current state analysis, future state analysis, prioritisation, and MVP
Manage and/or coordinates detailed design, use case development, testing and UAT
Development of BAU support model, vendor agreements, licencing and post go live support and maintenance
Develop and manage change management activities
Develop and deliver system transition deployment plans, business engagements, communications, and system user upskilling program
Establish a project governance & stakeholder engagement framework, status reporting and budget management
Liaise with stakeholders, third-party providers, and vendors to meet cybersecurity, solution architecture standards and maintain data integrity and data privacy guidelines
Manage and develop the performance of the team in line with Rio Tintoâs company values, to achieve objectives
Evaluate technology and learning solutions and ensure continuous improvement
Support the development and implementation of capability improvement initiatives
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Demonstrated Agile project management experience in learning management system implementations, ideally within a global business
Ability to operate at both a tactical/operational and strategic level concurrently to ensure the solution is relevant for âon-the-groundâ but also fit the overall strategic intent of Learning at Iron Ore
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in managing internal communication and messaging
Demonstrated experience in delivering through others in a matrix organisational structure without formal authority
Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies â design thinking, persona led journeys
Experience developing use cases in conjunction with strong understanding of learning (business) processes
Demonstrate experience in managing change within large complex organisations
Knowledge of and experience in, a digital learning environment
Knowledge of the end-to-end HR lifecycle (attractions, selection, onboarding, reward, talent management & development)
