About the Position

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Delivery Analyst for an initial 12 month role with our client Rio Tinto within their Rail Operations division based at their Perth Operations Centre at Perth Airport. This role reports to the Strategy Delivery Lead and will supports workstreams and projects with planning and running agile 'ceremonies' plus aggregation of plans to portfolio level.

This role is engaged on a Monday to Friday roster with flexible working arrangements available.

Duties will include:

• Support workstreams and projects with planning and running Agile 'ceremonies', plus aggregation of plans to Portfolio level

• Assist with business case creation for projects and benefits realisation planning (and monitoring post-execution)

• Assist with Risk, Assumption, Issue & Dependency (RAID) management, tracking and reporting at workstream and portfolio level

• Support portfolio reporting processes (e.g. SteerCo, Quarterly Strategy Forum etc) and workstream governance (e.g. RDLG) as necessary

• Other PMO activities as needed

What you will need:

• Prior working experience within a Project Analyst role highly desired

• Structured thinker who can follow process, but challenge where necessary; approaches their work with the end-audience in mind

• Good interpersonal skills; not afraid to ask any questions and be curious

• High attention to detail and able to summarise detailed information succinctly

• Understands and is comfortable with regularly sharing work in progress to 'fail fast' and adjust course

• Some experience preparing business cases or other form of "persuasive argument" is not essential but desirable

• C Class Drivers Licence
