About the role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Technology & Autonomy Portfolio Management Office for an initial 6 month contract with one of our leading mining clients. Based in the Perth office Monday - Friday 8 hour days.

Accountabilities of the Role:

The Technology & Autonomy Portfolio Management Office is responsible for:

• Establishing governance and processes for identification, prioritisation and management of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within the budget while meeting the requirements of the end users.

• Developing processes for management of people resources to ensure resources are available in a timely manner and shared optimally across projects.

• Mentoring and training Project Managers.

• Tracking and reporting on project health.

• Provide data about project progress, risks and issues in a centralised manner to the Technology & Autonomy Portfolio Review Group to assist with decision-making on the projects Portfolio.

• The PMO Analyst supports Team Leads and Project Managers and the wider project management community including: development and adoption of project methodologies, governance, standards and tools; providing Portfolio level tracking against agreed performance indicators, reporting and updates on schedule, deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues and benefits.

• The PMO Analyst requires experience in Portfolio management, attention to detail and analytical skills will be key to hit the ground running. You have a natural ability to build relationships, multitask and keep things on track in a busy environment with lots of moving parts.
