About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Wagon Maintainers for positions at Rio Tinto's Cape Lambert operations. Reporting to the Supervisor Rolling Stock Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the rail car fleet to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and in accordance with workshop procedures and instructions.

Accountabilities will include but not be limited to:

• Working as part of the wagon maintenance team to carry out safe, efficient, and prompt inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs of equipment.

• Maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repair of bogies, couplers, knuckles, draft gear, and ECP braking system.

• Pnuematic brake testing of wagons.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certification

• Previous experience in rail maintenance

• Manual C Class WA Drivers Licence

• Forklift Ticket (required)

• Dogging Ticket (desirable)
