About our Client:

Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an React Web Developer who will be involved in various activities requiring (but not limited to) building features on a suite of web based applications, troubleshooting bugs, assisting with Azure architecture design and cloud migration.

Key skills necessary:

• Experience developing single page applications using the React framework

• Experience in the TypeScript programming language

• Experience with Node.js

• Experience in Version Control (Azure DevOps + Git)

• Good knowledge of Software Lifecycle processes

Key skills desirable:

• Experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs using the Apollo stack

• Experience working with Mongo DB and Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience with user experience and user interface design and development

• Experience working with Azure App Services and other related Azure APIs

• Experience working with CI/CD automation pipelines

• Working in an agile development environment

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Working with the team to implement new features into a suite of existing React based web application

• Troubleshooting and resolving bugs in React based web applications

• Contributing to user interface design discussions and mock-ups

• Participating in the team Scrum events (sprint planning, sprint review, daily stand-ups etc)
