About the Role
Our client is seeking a Receptionist who will be responsible for all general reception duties in the Goldfields Community Alcohol and Drug services office and providing administration support to the Manager, Goldfields Services and Counsellors.
What you will be doing
Purchase of stationery and sundries
Collecting, recording and distributing mail received
Recording and sending outgoing mail
Answering telephones and directing calls
Preparation of client files
Making appointments for clients with relevant counsellors
SIMS Data Entry
Completion of general correspondence as required
Receiving, redirecting and responding to emails
Filing
Faxing, photocopying, bookbinding, laminating and shredding
Participate in the implementation of OSH policies and procedures
Liaise with Head Office in regard to OSH reports and systems
Manage and report risks
Follow workplace procedures for hazard identification and risk control
Ensure Occupational Safety and Health guidelines are followed in the workplace
Collect quality data and statistics required for funding bodies
Other
Ensuring photocopier has sufficient supplies
Maintaining a presentable Reception/waiting area
Other duties as directed by Office Administration
Client Care
Greeting clients and attending to their requirements
Responds to clients with co-occurring issues in a non-judgemental and compassionate manner.
Essential
Minimum schooling of year 10 certificate
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of team
Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated strong computer skills with a variety of programs such as: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, MYOB
Demonstrated strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
Ability to problem solve
Federal Police Clearance
Current WA Drivers Licence
Current First Aid Certificate
Desirable
Current knowledge of and commitment to, Equal Opportunity in all aspects of employment and service delivery.
Ability to deal with people who have substance issues either face to face and/or on the phone
Prior experience working in an administrative role.
