About Our Client

Our client is an integrated multi-disciplinary heavy engineering and construction provider to the metals and minerals, oil and gas, infrastructure, as well as marine and defence markets.

About the Role

Our client is currently seeking experienced Advanced Riggers to join the team at their Henderson workshop. The project will be on a local DIDO on a daily basis working Monday - Friday with optional Saturday work available. Day shift and Night shift on offer, working 10 hour shifts.

Skills and Experience

• High Risk Work Licence - Advanced Rigging (RA)

• High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform (EWP)

• Work safely at heights certificate

• Ability to pass drug & alcohol screen

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform dual lifts and mathematical assessment

• Structural Steel and Steel Erection

• Align level and anchor machinery

• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving using hand and power tools

• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps

• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chainfalls, gin poles and gallows frames

• Dismantle and store rigging equipment

• Fabricate, set up and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists and pulling gear using hand and power tools

• Comply with industry safety and standards of working

• Perform other general duties as required
