About the role

Want dayshift only and weekends off in the mines?

Are you a motivated individual seeking a career in Mining? WorkPac are currently recruiting New to Industry Operators to join our ROM team at an Open Cut coal mine site near Boggabri. Previous exposure to machinery operating is required or experience working in a highly regulated industry.


What you will be doing

• Operating CAT 785 in the ROM

• Working 10.5 hour shifts

• Monday to Friday working week

You will need

• Has articulated dump truck experience in a civil environment - RII to be provided

• Australian Driver's Licence

• CMI check

• Right to Work in Australia

• Undertake an Order 43 Coal Board Medical & Drug Test

Benefits

• Base rate of $33.39 per hour base rate + penalties

• Additional Hourly allowances

• Allowance 1: $4 per hour, paid weekly

• Allowance 2: $3 per hour paid quarterly

• Retention bonus of $3K paid quarterly (12K per year)

• 10.5 hour shifts (52.5hrs per week)

• Monday to Friday roster - enjoy your weekend off, every week!

• Superannuation paid on all rostered hours

• High potential to obtain a pit shirt after 6 month
