Are you an experienced construction safety advisor or supervisor with a passion for high rise building projects? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a High Rise Construction Safety Advisor
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the implementation of the company's health and safety policies on the construction site
* Conduct regular hazard assessments and inspect work sites to identify potential risks
* Provide recommendations to reduce or eliminate identified risk exposures
* Train and mentor on-site personnel on health and safety policies and proper use of tools and equipment
* Review and approve work permits for high-risk jobs
* Investigate and report all accidents and near misses
* Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
* Conduct all site inductions and collect relevant tickets and licences
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a construction safety advisor or supervisor
* General knowledge of construction and high rise building projects
* Demonstrated understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lead and manage a team
* Relevant certifications in workplace health and safety (min Cert III)
Safety Officer
