About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Sales Executive for a permanent opportunity with our industrial based Client in Mackay.

Our client specialises in manufacturing of wheels and rims for industrial earthmoving machinery for the mining and construction sector. They are looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive to support the Branch Manager in the development and growth of their Mackay branch. The successful candidate will source and pursue new sales opportunities, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. This is a full time, permanent opportunity with our Client based at their Mackay branch with regular travel required.

Key Duties:

• Travel throughout assigned territories including mining sites and businesses to call on existing and prospective customers to sell wheel/rim and other related products

• Support the Branch Manager in developing business growth and sales prospective and work to create a successful team environment in the branch

• Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers

• Check on site's existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements

• Provide competitive information such as product quality, longevity, delivery, and pricing to establish ongoing opportunities for the range

• Review monthly sales reports to determine if goals and objectives are being met

• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data

• Negotiate and close deals and handle complaints or objections

Experience Required:

• Prior experience in a sales executive or business development role within an industrial environment is essential

• Experience and knowledge of heavy earthmoving machinery, rim and wheel or heavy tyre knowledge is essential

• Must hold excellent communication and skills with a strong ability to build strong business relationships

• Prior experience developing business strategies and building client relationships is essential

• Must be able to provide a clear police clearance

• Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol

• Must have full working rights in Australia
