Sales Representative

About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative/ Business Development Manager for a permanent, ongoing role residentially based within the Pilbara region.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing sales growth in the Pilbara region, ensuring high quality service delivery for customers for a leading provider of mining and resource energy solutions equipment hire.

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Maintain and update accurate records of customer calls in the company CRM system.

  • Plan weekly and monthly sales activities as per the activity scheduler.

  • Travel remotely throughout the WA Pilbara & Kimberly regions, following a 4 week cycle plan that will require travelling three of four weeks of very month.

  • Provide full sales cycle from initial call through to close out.

  • Gather market intelligence and execution of marketing activities.

  • Provide onsite demonstrations of solutions and key product features.

  • Provide technical advice to prospects ensuring effective application of products.

  • Build and maintain effective client and potential client relationships to meet agreed sales and profit targets.

  • Maximise customer acceptance of products by ensuring all applications are well researched and appropriate to account requirements.

  • ? Ensure all delivery and invoicing is completed in a timely manner and where necessary, follow-up outstanding payments.

  • Ensure work is conducted in an ethical manner and all company assets are used safely and competently.

  • Actively pursue continuous improvement in business processes and develop safe work methods.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales of hire equipment or similar.

  • High level communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong presentation skills with a consultative sales approach.

  • Self motivated and able to work autonomously.

  • Strong listening and problem solving skills.

  • ? Values of honesty, integrity, trust, fairness, respect, courage and care.

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Right to work in Australia
