About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our clients team down at the Cockburn Power Station on a maximum term basis until December 2022. The main purpose of this role is to achieve effective Outage Scheduling to ensure critical path of the project can be accurately identified, monitored, and reported. The resource will be responsible for the development of Milestone, Pre-outage, Execution and Commissioning schedule to enable safe, reliable and the efficient return to operation of the facility.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Developing integrated precedence-based schedule covering the complexity of outage

• Develop work break down structure and creates a schedule to manage the flow of work around the critical path

• Determine the critical path and amend the schedule to minimise the critical path time frame and level resources

• Identifying high priority work in the schedule

• Provide reports against the schedule for analysis of critical activities and the close out of the outage

• Review work orders and job plans

• Update SAP to reflect any variation requirements in a timely manner

• Assist with co-ordination of the work being performed from schedule analysis

Skills and Experience

• Relevant trade qualification or similar

• Experience with a Power generating plant maintenance

• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office

• Sound knowledge of maintenance procedures and quality assurance standards

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously

• Right to work in Australia
