About our client
Heavily involved in sustainability and innovation of agriculture and forestry sectors throughout Queensland this organization have a research centre based in Toowoomba and have vacancies for Scientific Assistants to move into ongoing roles.

What you will be doing:

As a Scientific Assistant your role will be to enable businesses and the government to improve and deliver regional assistance to the agricultural industry. You will be required to work Monday to Friday (7.25 hours a day) and complete the below duties;

• Conduct flour milling of grain samples for quality analysis

• Labelling, collate and prepare samples for laboratory analysis

• Assist in the maintenance of specialised laboratory equipment in accordance with ISO 9001 Standards

• Have ability to follow instructions and work in a safe manner

What you will need:

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• High attention to detail

• Good reading & writing skills

• Previous experience working in agriculture

• Agriculture research experience (highly desirable)
