About the Role

As a Senior Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for managing tenders from invitation through to submission. In addition, you will be working closely with the project delivery team in assisting in project cost tracking.

Key Duties

• Review tender documentation

• Develop Scope of Works, Resource Requirements, Materials

• Costing and Construction Methodologies and Programme

• Identify cost risks and opportunities with various tender submissions & prepare cost plan

• Post tender negotiations and contract reviews

• Sourcing subcontractor and supplier quotes and availability

• Identify tender opportunities and monitor tender searches

• Responsible for Tender submission from start to finish

• Deliver technical review meeting for Management review and approval.

• Prepare Tender clarifications (identify contractual risk & alleviation).

• Develop and maintain cost controls to meet project goals and budgets.

• Draw up the Project budgets for winning Tenders and construction staging and program

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary education - Preferably in Civil Construction, other subjects considered

• High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage a

• variety of stakeholders

• Minimum 4 + Yearsâ of local Industry experience in RMS, Rail, Council & Subdivision tenders such as Asphalt, Streetscape, Drainage, Stormwater, Concreting, Earthworks and Shoring Systems.
