About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor for a6 month contract with the possibility of extension. This role will work a 2:1 roster, 12-hour days and FIFO from Perth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Document reviews (management plans, contractor CEMP's, procedures etc.)

• Contractor and sub-contractor management (including audits, work area inspections, toolboxes, training & reporting).

• Expert interpretation of environmental legislative requirements and advisory to construction team.

• Participate in field leadership and critical control management discussions

• Review, approve and audit Land Use Certificates (LUC) and disturbance permits (DPs).

• Disturbance management (review and report).

• Coach owners and contractor teams on environmental expectations.

• Development and delivery of site communications (toolbox, site notices, contractor progress meetings, pre-starts)

• Surface Water and Groundwater monitoring where required - analyse and interpret monitoring data

• Support and review environmental incident investigations.

• Works Approvals compliance auditing and reporting.

• Ministerial Statement condition tracking and reporting.

  About You:

• Bachelor of Environmental Management / Science or similar

• 3 to 5 years' experience as an Environmental Advisor in the mining or similar industry construction projects

• Proven experience managing contractors or own company workgroups in earthworks

• Proficiency in report writing and analytical skills

• Experience using Microsoft Office and ArcGIS applications

• Current Manual C class drivers Licence

• Full working rights in Australia
