About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team based in Perth with ad hoc travel to site. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering tender packages as well as providing support to the tendering and project execution teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete detailed and accurate pricing estimates from a first-principal basis

• Complete detailed methodologies and tender schedules

• Interpret drawings and review scopes of work to ensure it is reflected in pricing and project execution

• Evaluate pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers

• Prepare and maintain tender pricing & documentation deliverables

• Review and advise on commercial, contracts and scope departures

• Maintain, track and report on tender progress and performance

• Liaise closely with clients, management, and all other project staff

• Ensure compliance with client QAQC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans and procedures

• Prepare Microsoft Project schedules and work to tight deadlines and budgets

• Attend regular tender meetings on site to review scope as required

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience

• At least 5+ years experience with Structural, Mechanical and Piping works in the mining sector as an Estimator or similar

• Advantageous to have experience from tendering through to project execution

• Autonomous worker who can adapt and work flexibly with business requirements

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors

• Proficient in the full MS Office Suite and MS Projects
