Senior HR Business Partner

About the Role

Our client is seeking someone to foster strong relationships with client groups to deliver innovative solutions and holistic human resources services. You will supervise and act as a subject matter expert in recruitment and selection, performance management and position management with the aim to deliver proactive and customer focused services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate corporate reporting and performance data including monthly KPIs.

  • Provide high level support and advice on strategies, policies and related Human Resource functions to a wide range of staff and management.

  • Provide expert advice on Industrial Relations, employment legislation, award interpretation and application.

  • Prepare and review strategies, policies and procedures related to Human Resource functions, ensuring legislative compliance.

  • Coordinate the delivery of performance review and position management services by the Human Resources team.

  • Assist and advise managers, supervisors and staff on performance review systems.

  • Manage and develop online recruitment content and processes

  • Develop and implement recruitment and selection training.

  • Review and report on employment profile including staff turnover statistics.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or business-related discipline.

  • Minimum three years experience in a HR Business Partner, Generalist role.

  • Strong understating and interpretation of Legislation, Fair Work, Employment Law and Awards.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Industrial Relation matters, including undertaking and/or managing workplace investigations or grievances.

  • Extensive experience in delivering generalist human resources services including but not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management and position/establishment management.

  • Extensive experience in the application of industrial awards, employment legislation, policies and procedures to investigate and respond to a broad range of human resources issues.

  • Highly developed communication skills including the ability to partner with key stakeholders to support the delivery of best practice human resources services
