About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with a discipline engineering background and Sustaining Capital project experience to lead Order of Magnitude (OOM) studies, working with established systems and processes. The successful applicant will join a team of engineers responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects involving project scope definition and feasibility.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop sustaining capital projects from initial concepts through to approval.

• Work closely with internal teams to initiate projects to realise the benefit to operations.

• Oversee the vendor allocation of project engineering resources, to deliver the Order of Magnitude reports.

• Become a valued partner of site operations and maintenance teams, building close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver focussed solutions.

• Seek capital efficiency throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering degree, ideally chartered status or working towards.

• Proven experience in project delivery throughout project 'ideas' phases.

• Experience delivering sustaining capital projects for operations.

• Able to define and implement project improvement initiatives to maximise capital efficiency.

• Strong decision-making capability along with ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to lead, influence and motivate.
