About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller for a Brisbane based office for an immediate start. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster (Up to 45 hours per week) with competitive hourly rates available for the successful applicant for an initial 12 month contract.

Duties;

• Performing cost control activities on assigned projects, including commitment management, invoice processing and forecasting requirements

• Raising purchase order requisitions utilizing SAP

• Support the project control functions on a range of projects, with varying levels of complexity

• Understand the importance of scope, cost and schedule change control

• Prepare project reports including progress, financial and resource information

• Ensure all cost, schedule, and risk project reporting comply with company and client needs

• Update cost control systems to reflect budgets, actual, and forecast costs

• Collate, compile and issue project status information for reporting

• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, stakeholders and other project control related activities

Skills and Experience;

• Demonstrated experience supporting a portfolio of projects within mining, oil/gas or heavy industry environment

• Be able to manage and communicate with stakeholders effectively

• You will possess string analytical skills to identify and address issues.

• Uphold and champion the client companyâs HSE values, policies and procedures?

• Able to travel to site per project requirements
