About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our client based in Brisbane or Gladstone on a Monday to Friday Roster. A great opportunity to manage and support effective planning and scheduling of portfolio, focused on heavy civil works and mechanical improvement projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Site portfolio schedule reporting within the portfolio management system

• Creates, maintains and report on the project plans and schedules

• Conduct project schedule review meetings and update schedules

• Supports development of monthly schedule reports, including proper analysis

• Develops and update resources, progress and commodity curves

• Leads schedule development and monitoring for assigned areas

• Supports compliance with standardised processes, systems and tools

• Maintains the relationship with contracting, project planning and various stakeholders

• Liaising with Project Leaders to establish estimate and schedule compliance with cash flow forecast

• Proactively analyses and report implications of changes to plan and schedule

• Monitoring and escalating project variations and changes with leaders

• Provide technical support to project stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

• Engineering qualifications or equivalent

• Knowledge of cost control and forecasting

• Effective written and communications skills

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience in P6 and MS Project

• Current Australian 'C' class open driver licence

• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
