About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Service Technician to commence at a role in Mayfield NSW. You will be working in an ongoing position role with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out mechanical repairs to valves, actuators and other flow control equipment.

  • Test of SRV's Manual and Control/ Automated valves and pump equipment within the workshop

  • and onsite shutdowns.

  • Understanding of maintenance procedures and repairing of mechanical and automated.

  • Proficient in both practical workshop practices to ensure safety and quality outcomes are met.

  • Report times and work as per the Pentair quality systems and workplace process

  • Quality conscious person with pride in the work done.

  • Understand and to comply with Pentair???s and clients EHS procedures and practices.

  • Ensure all tool box meetings and day plan meeting are attended

Skills and Experience:

  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical fitting

  • Right to work in Australia

  • Ability to repair various valve types. PRV PSV in particular

  • Skills and experience as a fitter and or process operator.

  • Willing to work on a roster system two weeks on two weeks off. Varies.

  • Willing to work on fly in and fly out service work. Flexibility in working environments is essential.

  • Ability and customer interaction whilst working on site based process equipment.

  • Managing and completing the days planned activities, in an offsite environment.

  • Communicate clearly issues and problems found with individual jobs have worked in a safety culture

  • and environmentally conscious workplace

  • Product/valve condition and evaluation reporting.

  • Track record of working as a team and achieving successful outcome
