Site Administrator

    About the Role:

    WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Site Administrator to join the Rio Tinto team at Greater Hope Downs. This role will work a 4/3 roster FIFO from Perth for an ongoing duration.

    About our Client

    Rio Tinto operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700-kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • LAORS (legal and other regulations systems) onsite training statutory appointments

  • Relief admin across Hope Downs 1 & Hope Downs 4 (flights and accommodation)

  • Adhere to all Rio Tinto Health and Safety standards, policies and procedures and report any safety hazards and risks to appropriate channels

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and ad-hoc queries to relevant team/personnel

  • Provide ticket management support to site and functional partners e.g., processing travel requests, ad-hoc roster changes and clothing uniform orders

  • Work with Sodexo to process ad-hoc requests e.g., submit ad-hoc bus, village maintenance, catering, BBQ and function requests

  • Work with Pilbara Service Centre to organise and coordinate flights and accommodation for site team members, utilising Inflight (INX)

  • Utilise Prospect to raise maintenance notifications e.g., for light vehicles and infrastructure maintenance tasks.

  • Provide onboarding support for category 2/3 contractors, including submission of contractors hire forms, site entry forms, purchase requests for labour and managing flights and accommodation

  • Perform other ad-hoc activities to support site, e.g., management of room bookings, new starter packs, processing gate cards, IVMS, fuel keys and cab charges

  • Support Reward and Recognition initiatives

    About You:

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and posses a flexible working approach

  • Experience using SAP - To raise PO's and process invoices (desirable)

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Exposure and understanding of Rio Tinto systems and processes (desirable)

  • Experience using InFlight (INX) (desirable)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • MS Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence

  • Full Working Rights in Australia
