Our client is a trusted engineering, design and fabrication company based in South Brisbane and due to significant increase in projects and workload, they are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

What you will be doing

Working Monday to Friday approx. 38-45hrs per week, with occasional Saturday work if required, you will oversee a small team of 3-7 fabricators/installers across various projects in the greater Brisbane area. These projects range structural steel installs such as ramps, bridges, rails, stairs, platforms, and cages. You will be based out of the workshop located in South Brisbane, however, will mostly be out on site managing a small team of welders/boilermakers and other sub-contractors on the site on a daily basis. All sites will be locally based so there will be no long driving/staying away from home.

What you will need

• 1-3 years experience as a Production or Site Supervisor role

• 8-10 years proven experience across the structural fabrication environment

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker

• White Card

• Forklift Ticket

• Strong written and verbal skills

• Experience using Microsoft software such as Outlook & Excel, in addition to estimator platforms desirable

• Rigging experience and tickets are highly desirable but not essential

• Office/project administration experience is also desirable but not essential
