About our Client

Rio Tinto operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role

A once in a lifetime opportunity exists for experienced station hands to work on a either Hamersley or Rocklea Station for WorkPac in conjunction with our partner Rio Tinto.

Rio Tinto manages both stations with each station having the following:

??? Breed of cattle is predominantly Droughtmaster

??? 1 hour drive from Tom Price

??? 3 hour drive to the coast of Karratha

??? Karijini National Park very close

As a Station Hand / Stockman you will be responsible for:

??? The Station Hand will support the management in maintaining the property, equipment and livestock to industry standards or better by working on a daily basis to the general work program.

??? Mustering and handling of livestock

??? Machinery operation and maintenance (e.g. light vehicles, agricultural equipment, trucks and earth moving equipment)

??? Maintenance of infrastructure such as fences, bores, machinery, buildings and yards.

To be considered for these roles, we require that you meet the following selection criteria:

??? At least 1- 3+ years hands on experience within the Agricultural, Cattle & Pastoral Industry

??? Demonstrated previous experience in operation (such as motorcycle, 4WD, Loader, Forklift, Grader, Truck and Horse Riding).

??? Must hold a Current Open C Class or HR Drivers License

??? Experience in a livestock environment

??? Able to produce Right to Work in Australia

??? 2 contactable work references

??? Able to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical

??? Sound knowledge and skills relating to vehicle, plant, fencing, water points and building yard maintenance and repairs.

??? Good verbal communication skills

??? Basic computer skills
