40 hours per week (38 Normal + 2 Overtime)
Hours are set and rotate: 7.15am-4pm and 8am-5pm
Permanent Full Time Position directly with the company

The Client:

WorkPacs client is a timber company that has been delivery timber solutions to the Trade since 1931. They are seeking an experienced Store Person/Yard Hand to join our busy Burwood site.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role will be to ensure goods are received, pick, pack and dispatched efficiently and effectively. The workload is fast-paced and you will be working within a highly organised team.

You will be assisting the Team in the smooth running of the yard and be responsible for, but not limited to:

Reading picking sheets and assembling customer orders for delivery.

Serving Customers in the timber yard, including writing up and presenting order dockets for invoicing by the internal sales team.

Driver experienced using a forklift to receive deliveries and put away/take out stock

Ensuring yard is clean, presentable and safe at all times.

Be physically fit and able to lift to undertaken various manual handling tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years warehouse experience

LF Forklift license is essential.

Knowledge of the timber industry and its products is favourable (but not essential)

Be well presented and follow site rules at all times

Must have a positive attitude with a self-driven approach

Be safety focused
