What You Will Be Doing
WorkPac has an opportunity available for an experienced Inventory Officer / Storeperson at Rio Tinto's Dampier Port. Candidates will need to be residing in either Karratha or Dampier and will be on a 5/2, 4/3 roster. You will have experience in freight transport logistics along with stores or warehousing experience. Your duties will include;
Contributing to the development of best practice sample storage systems and solutions
Maintaining sample inventory database with incoming sample details, sample dispatch details and changes to sample inventories
Coordinating with RTIO internal customers and relevant transport companies on the timing of sample arrival and dispatch.
Executing sample pick/place orders
Advising customers on an as needs basis on the most suitable methods to transport samples, including labelling and inventory information required
Maintaining sample integrity by ensuring sample storage items are kept in good condition and proactively re-packed when required
What You Will Need
Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
Right to Work in Australia
HR Drivers Licence (desirable)
Logistics Coordination experience
SAP experience- highly desirable
Forklift Ticket and significant forklift experience
Enjoy working outdoors
