What You Will Be Doing

WorkPac has an opportunity available for an experienced Inventory Officer / Storeperson at Rio Tinto's Dampier Port. Candidates will need to be residing in either Karratha or Dampier and will be on a 5/2, 4/3 roster. You will have experience in freight transport logistics along with stores or warehousing experience. Your duties will include;

• Contributing to the development of best practice sample storage systems and solutions

• Maintaining sample inventory database with incoming sample details, sample dispatch details and changes to sample inventories

• Coordinating with RTIO internal customers and relevant transport companies on the timing of sample arrival and dispatch.

• Executing sample pick/place orders

• Advising customers on an as needs basis on the most suitable methods to transport samples, including labelling and inventory information required

• Maintaining sample integrity by ensuring sample storage items are kept in good condition and proactively re-packed when required

What You Will Need

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• Right to Work in Australia

• HR Drivers Licence (desirable)

• Logistics Coordination experience

• SAP experience- highly desirable

• Forklift Ticket and significant forklift experience

• Enjoy working outdoors
