About Our Client

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market, and the largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

About the role

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be accountable for the maintenance and execution of the plan for all excavators and drills. You will be responsible for ensuring the equipment fleet achieves maximum availability for optimal cost. You will provide leadership and direction to all maintenance personnel, including sub-contractors. Your success will be measured by your ability to maintain fleet availability and develop the skills of your crew.

You will be working a 8/6 day shift only roster on a mine in the Dysart region.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Trade certificate or equivalent qualification.

• Supervisor Qualifications (S1, S2, S3)

• RIIRIS402 Carry out the Risk Management Processes (G2)

• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
