Electrical Reliability Specialist

• Casual pay rate of $90.00 per hour

About the Role

We are currently looking for an Electrical Reliability Specialist to work with our client BHP's Mine Fixed Plant Electrical Reliability team, onsite based at Olympic Dam.

What you will be doing:

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with internal & external stakeholders to implement them.

• Liaising with external (OEM vendors etc) and internal (maintenance execution, planners, MOPS, G&TS etc) stakeholders.

• Carry out field validation Inspections on field devices to improve BoM & MD accuracies for equipment & task lists.

• Assist field validation of electrical drawings.

• Create & review maintenance work instructions etc.

What you will need:

Qualified electrician with plant maintenance related experience (mine end fixed plant experience is preferred)

• Positive attitude and ability to influence change

• Strong interpersonal skills - including effective communicator, team player

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Working knowledge of 1SAP and execution methodologies.

• Ability to search & follow schematic drawings.

• Good analytical problem-solving skills and understanding of root causes.

• Microsoft Office suite experience: Word, Excel & Outlook.
